Writing graffiti with spraypaint on passenger trains began in New York City in the 1970s.
Trains are a moving target and are often well guarded. They are hard to paint and difficult to
photograph. Either one can get you arrested or even killed.
Read what happened to Slick when he tried to save his friend in a tunnel. Paint fumes in tunnels can explode with a spark. Don't let it happen to you! Benoe.AM7.MSG was crushed to death by a train October 18, 1997. Sk8.CBS RIP, OEPZ-ONE RIP.
Sadly, these guys knew what they were doing, had lots of experience, and they were still killed by trains. Please stay away from tracks because trains can silently sneak up on you. Touching the track can also trigger much higher fines if you're caught in the yard. Parked trains can also jump suddenly, when other cars bang into them to hook up down the line, so always use the ladders to cross over (not under) trains, and hold on tightly.
