This picture, on the Texas Employment Commission, has caused much controversy in EL Paso. The trouble largely stems from the depiction of the Mexican national hero (the boxer) and the Mexican flag next to the US flag, in clear violation of US flag display regulations. Although the mural project as a whole was attacked, this piece remained the center of controversy. The building is in a low-income neighborhood in an area that most of the attackers had little reason to enter.
