We were visiting from the northern city of Seattle, so we didn't know much about the line, so we just painted something small.

Recently I received a nice magazine in my mailbox. It was the brand new Writepower mag from Slovakia, you can download the preview here.
Writepower has its focus on Slovakian writers in Slovakia and on tour. The main objective is steel, but there is also room for streetpieces, bombing and hall of fames. Most pieces are done by fresh Bratislava writers, such as RCLS, SPK & Mutants crews, but there are also pieces from around Europe, for example an interview with Moza from Italy.
The content is well balanced between interviews, reports and images. I missed more info about Bratislava though. The scene has probably changed a lot since I was there in 1998.
The layout and typography is fresh in an arty way. The paper quality is good and the mag itself contains lots of pages. I'm really looking forward to issue 2 of Writepower.
The photos in this weeks update does not reflect the content of the magazine, even though they are also fresh. For more info on the magazine check out the website linked above.
